Delight in these Best Ever Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins, packed with flavor and chocolatey goodness. Easy to make in one bowl, they’re a family favorite that satisfies every craving

Things you need

  • bananas (see notes for tips)

  • large egg

  • ½ cup melted (not hot) butter (salted or unsalted)

  • ¼ cup milk of your choice

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ⅓ cup white sugar

  • ⅓ cup brown sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F while you prepare the ingredients.
  • Mash bananas in a bowl, then add the rest of the ingredients in the order listed, folding in chocolate chips with a spatula.
  • Prepare your pan with coconut oil or liners.
  • Fill each muffin cup with approximately ⅓ cup of batter.
  • Bake on the middle rack for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  • Transfer to a wire cooling rack as quickly as you can.
    The chocolate chips are very hot so be careful!

Notes

  • For best results use frozen ripened bananas let them thaw in a bowl for 1 hour before peeling and mashing
